Details: This 1991 Mercury Capri Convertible only has 65k miles, but it needs work. I only used it a few times each month, and it has been gradually needing repairs for a while, and I don´t need the vehicle, so it is not worth repairing. For sale for parts or repair.The passenger power window motor doesn´t work; the left front strut needs replacing; one of the front tires has a bubble on it; the car overheated recently, and it gets hot very fast, then starts to lose power. I´m not sure what it needs to fix this, and I don´t have any interest in getting it fixed since we don´t use it. Body is amazing I see no Dents, and only a few small imperfections in the paint if you look up close. I´ve always kept it covered and it was never driven in the city so the car presents very well. No check engine lights. Should fly through safety and emmissions inspections just fine. I bought this car from a friend since it was so nice I was going to fix the trans and drive it, but I recently got a dog and I don´t want a dog in such a nice car with a leather interior, so have decided to sell it and keep my 200,000 mile station wagon instead. I have owned a couple Mystiques and 1 Contour, and REALLY Love these cars. They are quick, good looking and great on gas, just not practical for me right now. The trans may be fixable for cheap if you can put the servo back in ( I have all the parts), but I assume it shot out for a reason and may need a full overhaul. I´ve seen similar Mystiques with worn interiors and Body damage selling for $3,000 - $4,000 at local used car lots recently and some of them have fewer options as this one.
