Details: My car is a 98 AWD V-8 Mercury Mountaineer, has 152xxx, rated very good to good condition according to kelly blue book, prices at about 4250 private sale, it probably needs a front end alignment, and will need new tires in about a year, I am the 2nd owner, had it since last Feb.2011. I bought it from my parents neighbor, it actually belonged to his wife that passed away. They were maticulous about its upkeep, as so have I. I have replaced all 4 rotors and brakes, the old rotors were original. EVERYTHING works, a/c very cold, am/fm cd cassette stereo, sunroof, cruise, lumbar support, windows, locks, keyless entry ( I have the code) power leather seats, hitch, (although I believe this was never used) over drive, no leaks, the spare is still like brand new. This is the minor issues I´ve encountered...the stereo works perfect but doesnt display the numbers or letters (lose wire?) and the passenger front window is slow going down when its been extremely cold, still goes down, but can be a little on the pokey side, goes up just fine. It also has some minor rear bumper rust that can be rubbed out, a little rust under a rear passenger door, and a couple small little dings in the hood (where maybe hail hit it?) very hard to see unless your really looking. Other than that it is a very solid, reliable, fun, great looking vehicle that I have been proud to drive. It gets about 15-16 city, 20-21 freeway. I am also leaning to keep it, I know I can depend on it, if I wasnt needing the money I would never sell it. It is a luxury model Mountaineer. It is a dark green, with leather seats, power windows, cruise control, after market CD player and speakers, and a ´moon´ roof. I just put in $800 for front end work. I replaced the tie rod ends,and the steering knuckle on the drivers side less than a month ago. The brakes are fairly new, and so are the tires. The car is also wired for a system, but does not have one in it presently. There is only few cosmetic things wrong with the car (small rust spots, thanks to Michigan weather), and a couple of small scratches, but other than that it runs and drives great! Details: I have a 1999 Mercury Sable LS for sale. Only has 96,000 miles on it. It has a tan exterior and tan interior. It has the 3.0 motor, 24 valve, dual overhead cam. It gets on average 25-30 miles to the gallon. This is a non-smoker car. Interior is in average condition. Small 6 inch tear on the drivers seat that is covered by tan duct tape. Within the last 6 months it has had plugs, wires, coil pack, wiper motor, wiper transmission, exhaust gaskets, newer tires, battery, and A/C recharge. The exterior of the car is also in average condition. No major rust or dings. The right rear door skirt is missing. And the rear bumper was replaced by prior owner and it is same color just a little bit dull so it doesnt match the rest of the car exactly.
