Details: 1954 mercury monterey 2 dr hardtop project. no motor or trans. body straight. front end is off car as previous owner had strarted body work on fenders. Im pretty sure everything is there though. needs minor patches.. merc is NOT a rust bucket.. car is originally from kansas where it sat inside a barn since the mid 70s. Seats are there but they need redoing.. looks like a flock of moths got to them with a few mice as back up. car originally had a v8. and power brakes. brake booster is still there.. I have all the stainless which is in pretty good condition. there are extra parts as well.. good fender a extra trunk lid and some other odds and ends that came with the car, though probably wouldnt be needed. has a clear nj title in my name. I was planning to chop this and make it look like the the custom 1954 merc owned by mark morton in all the mags, but stuff got in the way and now I need to get rid of it. I also have a 64 tbird which is for sale as well that has a 390 that ran great.. but needed a solinoid and fuel pump. The 390 will fit in the merc by swapping the original y block motor mounts left to right. a common swap apparently in the 50s and 60s I hear. I could do a nice bundle on both cars for a serious buyer. Mercury could be on the road with not that much body work. and if you have your own motor and trans youd be ahead of the game and have it before spring ends.2800.oo obo. no lowball offers..
