Details: I am selling my 1999 Mercury Cougar, V6. It has 145,000 miles on it. It is a dark green, with leather seats, power windows, cruise control, after market CD player and speakers, and a ´moon´ roof. I just put in $800 for front end work. I replaced the tie rod ends,and the steering knuckle on the drivers side less than a month ago. The brakes are fairly new, and so are the tires. The car is also wired for a system, but does not have one in it presently. There is only few cosmetic things wrong with the car (small rust spots, thanks to Michigan weather), and a couple of small scratches, but other than that it runs and drives great! Details: Here is a 1949 Mercury 2 door Lead Sled project that had a lot of customization work done already. Bought the car ten years ago and life happened. . . Couldn´t make time to work on it.The top was chopped 6 inches but the doors were not finished. The headlights were frenched and a pancake hood was started to match the slope of the top. Moulded Fiberglass bumpers have been roughed in.She´s got a lot of potential for someone with the time.The included engine I intended for it is a running supercharged and injected 3.8 liter with all the wiring, harnesses intercooler and computer. The motor has about 45k miles on it. It started and ran good when it was pulled from a 1990 Thunderbird SC. Rear end is a GM 10 bolt from an Olds Cutlass.I have a lot of spare parts that will go with the car including extra doors.Car has a clean Michigan Title (not salvage) and is located in Fort Gratiot, near Port Huron, Michigan (48059) I will not part out the car, please don´t ask.
