In the last 6 months, we have had the following work preformed: New front axles, new drivers side wheel bearing, new front and rear brakes, new Battery, new alternator, new serpentine belt, new rear stabilizer links, new rear bushings, and new rear struts. The car has approximately 150,000 miles and runs very strong. It has the 2.5L V6 rated at 200 horses. Included equipment: Power steering, Power brakes/ w ABS, power mirrors, windows , doors and locks, automatic trans w/ overdrive,Trip computer w/ fuel economy display, fog lights, power moon-roof, 16´ alloy wheels, Am/Fm CD radio, cruise, tilt, power drivers seat, power trunk release, keyless remote locks, and many other features. The motor and trans are in good working order and there are no leaks, no check engine lights, or other major issues. We had the state inspection done in Jan., so it is good till 1/13. The car will eventually need 2 tires (rear) and will need new front bushings in the future. Cost of the bushings is @ 25 dollars. Recently, I noticed a slight hesitation, and the code is for the #3 coil, which will need to be replaced, @ 50 Dollars. I replaced the switch for the sunroof motor, but it is still making a sound like it is stripped, so that will also need attention. The interior of the car is in great condition with no rips or tears, and needs only a good cleaning of the seats. The exterior has a few scratches as expected, but is free of dents or damage. Details: This is a 1951 Mercury antique two door coupe with approx. 38000 miles, flat head v/8 engin, standard three speed transmision with over-drive, dules, skirts, one spot lite and never had a radio - radio delete. The car is in red primer and needs a new interiour and the front and rear bumpers re-chromed.
