Details: I am selling my 2002 Mercury Cougar. It is a 5 speed transmission with about 131,xxx miles, this is my daily driver and has never given me a problem. I have owned it for a year now and as much as I love it, I really hate driving a 5 speed, its too much of a hassle for me. It is immaculate inside, non smoker, does have a broken spoiler that I removed, all you would need is either to fill the holes and paint the trunk or get a factory spoiler, I may even buy the spoiler and put it on myself before selling...depends on taxes. I have taken care of this car, regular oil changes and tune ups, last tune up was April 2011. Has two brand new tires on the front. It is a pretty gray color with black interior. It has the cougar symbol on the steering wheel and on the side stepping plates. It is the hatchback version so plenty of trunk space. It has aftermarket rims. This vehicle has been well cared for and drives excelent! It gets anywhere from 21 to 25 highway miles per gallon, depending on how you drive. It gets around 15 miles per gallon city. It has back-up sensors and well-tinted rear windows. I have towed several U-Haul trailors of different sizes, jet-skis, a 35 foot boat and several small trailors without any trouble at all. Details: 1962 Mercury Comet with straight six and automatic tranny. Wife´s car, but she rarely drives. Came out of garage 1.5yrs ago for the first time in 29 yrs, so is in very good, unrestored condition with 67,200 original miles. Inspection sticker on window is from 1982. Still has the rubber bag bladder for windshield fluid, and factory stickers in trunk lid and elsewhere. Spare still in trunk with bumper jack. The generator was rebuilt, the radiator pulled & refurbished, gas tank cleaned out and gell coated (also have a brand new gas tank for it), and the following parts changed: fuel pump, fuel lines, carburetor, engine & tranny gaskets. Everything works and it is currently licensed, insured, and driven whenever. I just replaced the starter this week. Still have the original carburetor and starter if want to have both rebuilt and put back to 100% original.Also have a freshly rebuilt straight six motor on stand from a 64 Comet may let go with car for right trade. Look better if want to get into car shows.May swap for a Harley or tractor with bush hog & front end loader, or take a partial trade of guns, a Shovelhead, maybe something else. Trade for value is $8,000. NADA for an original 20 foot car is $9,000.
