Original flathead engine drivetrain replaced with a Chevy 327 and T400 transmission in ´71. The odometer approximately read 58K at time of swap and was reset when the interior was repainted and reupholstered in 1994.The engine was rebuilt (blueprinted and balanced) in 1989 by Bob´s Auto in Sunnyvale CA. The engine has approximately 500 miles on it since the rebuild in 1989 and runs very strong. Transmission has shift kit installed. The car has been lowered approximately 2 inches.The exterior and interior are very clean and the body is very straight. The paint does have some minor chips around the hood and trunk edges. The hood has been louvered and shaved. The trunk and sides have been shaved and the antenna recessed in the rear fender. The original stainless steel trim and exterior accessories are still with the car and will be delivered with the vehicle upon sale. Details: 1999 Mercury tracer, well maintained and runs great. On several trips to North Carolina I got 34+ MPG.Car is currently inspected and will last until september. The interior and exterior are in good shape with one exception, the previous owner ran the car up under another vehicle so the hood has some scratches.New plugs + wires , alternator , tires with less than 10k miles on them. This car is well maintained and has records from the previous owner.I just paid $120 dollars for a new transmission mount and ball joint.
