Original flathead engine drivetrain replaced with a Chevy 327 and T400 transmission in ´71. The odometer approximately read 58K at time of swap and was reset when the interior was repainted and reupholstered in 1994.The engine was rebuilt (blueprinted and balanced) in 1989 by Bob´s Auto in Sunnyvale CA. The engine has approximately 500 miles on it since the rebuild in 1989 and runs very strong. Transmission has shift kit installed. The car has been lowered approximately 2 inches.The exterior and interior are very clean and the body is very straight. The paint does have some minor chips around the hood and trunk edges. Details: I don´t have the money to keep my car on the road so I´ve had it sitting since September. It has under 100,000 miles on it (I believe its at about 98,000) When I had it inspected last found out the right front spring will need to be replaced & the tires were bald but I do have 4 new tires that will come with the car. It was running when I took it off the road but recently tried starting it & couldn´t get it to turn over. I honestly have no idea why it wont start but have been told it´s probably something basic like the battery or starter. I just want to sell it since I don´t have the money to keep it going anyway. I kelly blue booked it and said it was worth 3,400 in the condition it´s in, I realize not knowing why it wont start doesn´t help trying to sell it but I have to try. I have the title free & clear, never been in an accident.
