Details: TO START OFF THE CAR IS JUST LIKE THE ONE IN THE PIC, SAME WHEELS AND ALL EXCEPT RED WITH A BLACK BRA ON THE FRONT!!! I have a 1999 Mercury Cougar 2-door hatchback for sale. 102,000 miles on car it´s getting a new engine in it right now just waiting for engine parts to get here that we ordered they all should be here by this friday the 2nd of February. I wanted to get this posted a little earlier so I can hopefully have a buyer lined up when its ready. Should be done by March 9th. If you would like to come see the proof on the new engine and look at the car it is located at my house in the garage where the work is being done, I am a full-time mechanic and I´m doing the work and paying for it. Well some more about the car. The engine is a 2.5L DOHC fuel injected V6 8th digit vin#L, it has the 5-speed standard transmission, front wheel drive, power everything, cruise control, tilt wheel, stereo system wires already ran through-out car, black bra on the front of car, heat and A/C work great, sunroof/moonroof, red exterior, black/tan interior with some parts of the dash accented (painted) red/black, with leather seats, no stereo in the car but I have a CD player I´ll throw in with it that I just pulled out of my other car. It also has the stock alloy Mercury wheels with great tires on it. The reason it is getting a new engine is because somebody before us had the old motor pulled out back in 2006 and had something replaced and they must of lost or broke one of the timing chain teflon strips on the guide, so they put it back together anyways and ditched the car on a tradin. Someone else bought the car and drove it for awhile not knowing the chain was wearing on the metal guide, which finally broke the guide and instantly on the freeway jammed and stopped the engine breaking 2 rods, exploding 2 pistons, seizing a cam journal on 1 head, and damaging the bottom of the other head, and also broke a hole thru the front and back of the engine block. Anyways this is a nice sporty little car, keep in mind it is a little dirty and dusty, also the roof and hood will get buffed and polished before it leaves, I will actually have the car FULLY detailed before purchased. Just so you know I ´WILL NOT´ post pics right now cause no car looks good on blocks in a dark garage lol!
